LSU head coach Les Miles addressed the media after practice on Monday and said that defensive line coach Ed Orgeron is "fired up" about his new responsibilty as the team's new recruiting coordinator. Per ESPN:
quote:

"[He is] an experienced guy, a guy who really knows how to recruit, has always recruited well personally," Miles said Monday evening after the Tigers completed their first practice of the spring. "But now given an opportunity again to lead, have some extra responsibility, he is fired up for that, I guarantee you."
This will be Orgeron's forth time as a recruiting coordinator for a team as he served in that role twice at USC and once at Tennessee prior to arriving at LSU.

I never really imagined that O would ever coach at LSU. He's probably the biggest hire LSU has made in a decade. Besides Frank Wilson. But he's going to do great things during his time here.
