Despite recently receiving a scholarship offer from Ole Miss, pro-style LSU quarterback commit Myles Brennan made it clear on Sunday that he is solid on his commitment.

Brennan, a 6-3, 180-pound prospect from Bay Saint Louis, MS (St Stanislaus HS) was on LSU's campus with his family this past weekend for the Bayou Picnicrecruiting event and had a great time. Per 247 Sports:
quote:

“Every trip down to Baton Rouge gets better. I can’t wait to get down there again and hang out. My parents love it. That’s one of the things we’ve said. It’s close to home and we can be back-and-forth on weekends. I just love it more and more every time I come. It’s a different feeling than most schools give you on a visit.

“This time was really about things away from football. I got to just sit down with all the guys and talk about hunting and fishing and the cars they drive. We just got away from football with it."

I hope this guy starts. He can really sling it. I like Narcisse too. I just think Brennan fits LSUs system better. He will definitely make our passing game better. Not a race thing. I am black. I bleed purple and gold tho, and I think Brennan make our passing game a legitimate threat.

2018 will be an all out war for the starting QB position if nobody transfers before then. So far I'm looking at RS junior McMillan, RS sophomore Lindsey, RS freshmen Breenan and Narcisse, and true freshman Dinklemann for 2018. We'll definitely find a replacement for Harris out of that group.

I'll be pulling for this kid to compete enough not to transfer
