Four-star wide receiver Mannie Netherly announced Tuesday that he will compete in Track and Field at LSU.

Netherly, a 6-3, 174-pound prospect from Crosby, TX, has already enrolled at LSU.

He will join cornerback Donte Jackson as two Tigers that will participate in Track and Field and Spring Practice this semester.

I really don't have a problem with this. As long as he remembers that football comes first. Jackson has top end speed, but his coverage skills are questionable. He was beat a lot last year. QBs caught him peaking in the backfield often.

If he's here to play WR then I'm not sure where coverage skills and QB peaking come into play.
