UPDATE: Zalance Heard has committed to LSU.

Four-star offensive tackle Zalance Heard from Monroe, La. will be announcing his college commitment on Thursday at 4pm.

Heard's top schools are LSU, Nebraska, Florida, Houston, and Florida State.

The 6-5, 300-pound prospect from Neville High School is rated the No. 6 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2023, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Heard received his offer from LSU back in March. His former teammate is freshman offensive tackle Will Campbell who will start for the Tigers this season.
