Four-star linebacker Tackett Curtis from Many, La., was at LSU this past weekend and shared pictures from his visit.

Curtis, a 6-3, 220-pound prospect from Many HS, is rated the No. 4 linebacker in the country for the class of 2023, according to Rivals.

If the coaches evaluate him to be a fit, then I hope he comes here. But I got to be honest, I don’t see the hype. Dude is stiff as a board and just runs downhill. Kinda shows you what happens if you push a fridge down a flight of stairs. Doesn’t seem sustainable against good talent.

One of his coaches tells me it's Wisconsin or USC. Lots of ground to make up. Kid is a humble killer. Hope he stays home

Sometimes I wonder why and how LSU's last coach alienated so many Louisiana HS coaches and players. At least the LSU coach before( 2005-2016) the insanity of '20-'21 was consistent with keeping a majority of athletes from leaving Louisiana. The more fans hear about Notorious O we understand how a championship program went down the Biden drain. I hope BK can change the culture of LSU football and keep kids like Curtis instate

Curtis, go to your in-state school and endear yourself to your state/fans. If you don't have a lengthy NFL career, you can always have a successful career in your state and always be welcomed back at Tiger Stadium (and rarely have to buy a meal in public). Go elsewhere, and you will just be another former player.

I hear this all too often. Because never having to buy a meal or a beer in Louisiana is a great reason to choose to stay home. Sheesh.
