Talented four-star cornerback Mario Goodrich is set to make his final college decision on National Signing Day, he announced Sunday night.

Goodrich was originally committed to Nebraska but reopened his recruitment at the beginning of December. The Lee's Summit, MO native is a major target for the Tigers and could fill one of the final three spots left in LSU's 2018 signing class.

The 6-2, 180-pound prospect from Lee's Summit West High School is rated the No. 4 athlete in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Missouri for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He is rated the No. 12 overall cornerback in the country, according to Rivals.

I hate to be the barrier of bad news, but I am getting word that Surtain is leaning towards the Gumps. I absolutely hate hearing anything about those shittards!

Can we pull someone's scholly at any point? Seems like we pulled kicker Trent Domingue scholly a couple years ago. I know it's not the classiest move, but do we really need Culp, Gamble, and the new kicker coming in all on scholly? I say pull either Gamble or Culp to make room for Surtain, Goodrich, Chase, and Foster. Sometimes you gotta do what's best for the team and neither of those guys have proven they can be consistent and help the team win.

Not sure there will be room if we get the three they are aiming for. Surtain and Foster appear to be as close to LSU locks as you cans get. Chase is staying quiet which is never been good for LSU. If Chase falls out I’d be happy to steal him.
