Elite four-star offensive tackle Max Wray from Franklin, TN has LSU as one of his four finalists and will be making his decision sometime around May, according to 247Sports.
quote:

"Tennessee, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State," Wray said on Sunday afternoon. "Those are the four schools that I'm zeroed in on."

By narrowing it to those four schools, Wray plans to take the next few weeks with his family to mull over his options before making a final decision that is likely to come in mid-May.

"I just need to ind the place that's going to make me fulfill my potential the best and where I fit in not only as a football player but as a person too," he said. "I'm looking for like-minded people to me and where I just fit in."
Wray, a 6-6, 281-pound prospect from Franklin High School is rated the No. 4 offensive tackle in the country for 2018. He recently visited LSU with his parents and younger brother Jake who is also a major offensive linemen prospect for the 2020 class.
quote:

"LSU is really turning things around and I really believe in Coach (Orgeron), Coach (Matt) Canada and Coach (Jeff) Grimes. (General Manager) Austin Thomas is a big part of that too.

I love that we get articles almost every day about recruits across the country considering LSU. This is why Coach O was hired. He's a top recruiter, along with all of his assistants. Building a team with top recruits is job #1. And that Tennessee connection is getting stronger. I suspect Coach Grimes may have contacts there from his time in West Virginia. Keep reeling em in guys!

Good to see that recruiting olineman is drifting to the leaner "build on" targets versus the mammoth kids who need to drop 40-50lbs immediately. Its about athleticism over shear bulk. Good looking oline recruit.

I'd assume he is referring to the offense in general. I don't think I'd want to run block 40 X a game either TBH. Not only is it taxing on the body, but you have to pass block in the NFL. JMO.

Austin Thomas is the secret weapon that no other school has. Continue to hear great things about him. He'll be in the NFL in no time.

You're right, and I'm sure he'll appreciate being able to legally pay his players.
