Four-star 2020 defensive tackle CamRon Jackson from Haynesville, LA announced on Wednesday night that he has committed to LSU.

Jackson, who is cousins with 2019 signee Joseph Evans, chose the Tigers over Alabama and Mississippi State.

The 6-5, 265-pound prospect from Haynesville HS is rated the No. 19 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 11 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports.

Jackson received his offer from LSU back in April of 2018.

He is probably going to be moved to offensive tackle once he gets to LSU. I wish Jacob Gulliory and McKinnley Jackson would sign soon. There are also a couple of highly rated DTs from Texas very interested in LSU as well.

I saw Roy in the dome and he's def has the look of a great athlete. Needs more coaching IMO but once he gets to LSU and has some real talent next to him, he's going to be a handful. Was double teamed and still got into the backfield quite often. STM also avoided him. I hope LSU gets all their i state guys while also landing a few OOS DLman as well as a couple of rushing OLBs. We need those strong fast penetrating DEs and NTs badly.

Gone be a great Dline class, especially if LSU can lock down Guillory and McKinnley Jackson. Guillory is a athletic beast, maybe even better than Mc Jackson, IMO.
