Another great one has moved on. Was enjoyable to watch over the last 2 seasons. Time for him to get paid!

After watching him rise to the occasion against good competition I say Waters is ready. He was nothing short of dominant and the best player on the floor in each of our 3 ncaa tourney games. Good luck Tre!

I agree that Waters is ready. Naz on the other hand is an outstanding talent but he gets bullied down low and will not be ready until he learns to play tougher with the big boys on the post.

How can you blame him with the current cloud hanging over LSU's program thanks to the clusterfrick caused by Alleva? If he doesn't declare for the draft now, he risks being stuck in a bad situation that lowers his draft stock further. Right now he doesn't know who his coach will be next year or if the NCAA will drop the hammer or if Joe Alleva will self impose scholarship penalties and/or a postseason ban next year. I don't blame any of our players that have NBA potential for leaving early given the current cloud over the program. Thanks Alleva

Tremont IS a student athlete. He majored in Finance, not some nonsense major. And I believe he was a 4.0 student in high school. Skylar Mays is another one.

It is time for the NBA to stop using the NCAA as its training program. It is time for them to allow recruits right out of High school into their G-league or another development league! This will make college basketball so much better.

Unfortunately the NBA doesn’t and will never give a rats arse about college basketball.

LOL they do. "The NBA G League announced a Select Contract as part of a comprehensive professional path that will be available, beginning with the 2019-20 season, to elite prospects who are eligible to play in the NBA G League but not yet eligible for the NBA. The contracts, which will include robust programmatic opportunities for development, are for elite players who are at least 18 years old and will pay $125,000 for the five-month season."

the NBA doesn't care about college basketball. Nor should they.

This one hurts but I'm happy for him. I can't remember an LSU player I enjoyed watching play more. Thank you for the great memories Tremont.

Love H3O without a doubt ... but did you ever see Chris Jackson play?

Can’t blame the kid for fulfilling a dream and expected it since he tested the Waters last year (ISWYDT). I’ll always remember his clutch plays when time was low and the pressure was on. Good luck.

But LSU does need to solve this issue quickly, before it crippled our recruiting and everyone else transfers away!

Again, like Naz... with the cloud hovering over the program and WW’s future in question... I don’t blame TW!

this doesn't have anything to do with Wade. Waters has been here two years and his draft stock won't improve more with another year or two. Waters is what he is.

Man I hope the Celtics get him.

The real question is: who pays more; the NBA or coach will Wade

This is Aleva’s fault...amirite?

Good luck my man! So many good memories of this kid.

Not likely he gets drafted, but he should be able to go somewhere and make money. If he dreams to play professionally and doesn't think he can grow much more at LSU, why not go now? Playing college ball is not for everyone. Best of luck to the young man!

Idiot. He could come back and be the player of the year next year.

Seriously, going to call a student-athlete that has represented LSU with a ton of class an idiot because he wants to fulfill a dream. I think we know who the idiot is.

Yea he’s an idiot, instant millionaire, how much do u make
