LSU had control of the game. 22 point lead. Coach Wade trying out different lineups. SIU closed the gap to 9 at one point. This was a good opener for the Tigers. Thomas should be fun to watch.

62-60 is not 9 points

Good first game! The stars were shining. But we will need to tighten up that perimeter defense.

So. Same problem just a new year

Actually different problem. Last year we couldn’t fight through a screen to contest an open shot. Last night we got lulled to sleep or but on a stab and left the perimeter player open.

I see that trademark, tough Wade defense is back, giving up only 81 points.
