Awesome! Let's hope this translates to some success next year. I would love to see the Deaf Dome get deafening again. It could happen even this year!

Who remembers when Dale Brown went into the state of Kentucky and came away with a very coveted high school power forward who Kentucky wanted really bad? A few years later, Rudy Macklin would lead LSU to the final 4. JJ is bringing LSU back to being a contender in the SEC. I just hope he doesn't lose sight of the instate talent. Who remembers the Louisiana high school BB classes of 1981 and 1982? PG, Joe Dumars, 1981, PF, John Williams, 1981, C, Benoit Benjamin, 1982, PF, Karl Malone, 1982. WOW! That would have made a damn good NBA Team. Just hope JJ doesn't neglect the instate talent. Would have been nice if coach Brown could have signed those 4 players in those 2 years.
