Per LSUSports.net: The LSU Tigers combined for 18 hits and 16 runs to defeat Grambling, 16-3 at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field on Tuesday night.

LSU is now 20-9 overall. Grambling moves to 11-18 overall.

LSU will travel this weekend to Starkville to face Mississippi State in a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 8th at Duly Noble Field. Friday’s game will be broadcast on SEC Network at 7:00 p.m. CT and available to listen to affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.

Grant Taylor secured the win on Tuesday night, tossing for two innings and tallying five strikeouts and two earned runs. He moves to a 3-0 record.

We’re 20-9. Continue the pace and we’ll finish with over 40 wins and hopefully some nice tourney wins, and hopefully at least a two seed and/or host a regional. We may not be a top 8 team this year. Maybe so if we get hot.

How about we go win a weekend SEC series, then maybe we should get some spotlight. 44 yes that’s right 44 errors. Never thought in my lifetime that I would see an LSU team with 44 errors only 1/3 through the season. Get it right tigers!!!!!!
