Updated 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament bracket projections came out this week, with LSU (29 - 21) listed as a bubble team.

D1 Baseball has the Tigers in their "Four To Watch" category as we head into the final two weekends of the regular season.

Last Four In:
UAB

East Carolina
Virginia Tech

First Four Out:
Pittsburgh
Purdue
Miami (OH)
Louisiana

Four To Watch:
Vanderbilt
LSU
Mercer
South Alabama

Baseball America has LSU missing postseason play as part of the "Next Four Out" group:

Louisiana (Sun Belt)

The Tigers are currently on a five-game winning streak and head to No. 6 Georgia this weekend before hosting Florida to wrap up the regular season in two weeks.
