LSU right-handed pitcher Landon Marceaux was selected by the Los Angeles Angels with the 80th pick in the MLB Draft on Monday.

Marceaux, a junior from Destrehan, La., established himself as LSU's ace this past season, going 7-7 with a 2.54 ERA. He earned multiple All-American honors and was named National Player of the Week after helping the Tigers win the Eugene Regional.
