Due to rain in the Baton Rouge area, the Sunday regional final between LSU and UNC-Wilmington has been postponed and will be played on Monday at noon. Fans that had a ticket for Sunday's game, will be admitted to Monday's game.

If UNC-Wilmington wins that game, both teams will play again at 7pm.

Here are comments from LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva who was clearly not happy with the NCAA's decision to postpone Sunday's game:

"It must have been some real horrible rain. It looks like it washed away the south endzone upperdeck."

Doesn't even make sense.

Look at Tiger Stadium in the background. It's obviously an old pic before the south endzone upper was complete.

The way the NCAA is acting you would think we were playing Bama instead of UNCW.

100% agree with Alleva. No reason why we shouldn't play tonight.

He's absolutely right. And good on him to comment for Maineiri. Let him be the one to ruffle feathers with the NCAA. Let the coach focus on winning a ballgame at noon tomorrow.
