Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU pitchers amassed 22 strikeouts but it wasn’t enough as Ole Miss evened the series, 5-3, Saturday night at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

LSU dropped to 17-2 and 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Ole Miss (10-8, 1-1 SEC) halted the Tigers' 14-game winning streak to even the series.

Yes, Bregman had some smashes, however, right at someone. It is a game of inches. He has been hitting well as has the team. Yesterday the hard hits didn't find the openings. 17-2 is a fine record & it will turn around. The LSU pitchers had a tremendous day.

Feel bad for Bregman, dude was putting some good swings on the ball and nothing could fall.
