Following LSU’s 10-0 win over Western Michigan in the season opener, head coach Jay Johnson spoke with the media and provided an update on Tommy White.

Johnson said that White exited Friday’s game due to a shoulder that needed to be popped back in place.

White likely won’t play Saturday due to soreness but Johnson was optimistic it wouldn’t be a long term injury.

If it had to happen, first game on the schedule was the perfect time.

Seems like it dislocated pretty easily, hope this doesn't lead to further issues.

So has a shoulder. Anywho if thats all it is Tanks looks like the kind of guy that would rub some dirt on it but the throw from 3rd is an issue. Maybe DH for a minute. He is too important to the Lineup.

The guy who said separated shoulder got tree roasted but was spot on.

Great news!

As someone who has had a dislocation, the pain/injury wasn't long term. The challenge is that it can lead to more dislocations in the future which compound

Strange how one can get to this stage of development and had not experienced it before.

I dislocated my shoulder once in a weird way in high school and I was on the baseball team and every time I would go throw the ball I would feel a pop in my shoulder. I was taking pitching lessons from Chad oche(however you spell his name) and was getting serious in to it. I had to quit because of how uncomfortable it became. Hope that’s not what’s happened to him

LOL - Chad Ogea

Had 2 GFs (sorry no pics) come to see him at the 90 CWS. Parents brought who they thought was the only one to surprise him.

IIRC this is what Chris Hilton had surgery for but I believe they said he had the issue like 3 times before that became the prescription.

Needs to either get shorter term surgery on it or brace it heavily otherwise it's probably going to pop up again
