Former LSU ace Kade Anderson is headed to the big leagues.

The Seattle Mariners plan to call up Anderson, the top-ranked pitching prospect in baseball, to make his MLB debut Saturday against the Chicago Cubs, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Anderson, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft, has dominated during his first professional season. The 22-year-old left-hander is 10-1 with a 1.06 ERA, 135 strikeouts and just 13 walks over 93.1 innings with Double-A Arkansas.

The Louisiana native starred at LSU in 2025, going 12-1 with a 3.18 ERA and 180 strikeouts while helping lead the Tigers to the national championship. He was also named the College World Series Most Outstanding Player.
