LSU announced Monday that talented first baseman Greg Deichmann will participate in the 2016 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby on July 3rd. Per LSUSports.net:

The top power hitters in college baseball will converge on TD Ameritrade Park Omaha for the seventh-annual event at 7:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 3, live on ESPN2.

Deichmann will be the third LSU player to take part in the event, as Mason Katz advanced to the final round in 2012 and Matt Gaudet was on the inaugural roster in 2010.
Deichmann led LSU with 11 home runs in 2016.
