"Meh. He really needs another year of seasoning in college ball and should concentrate on getting his degree at LSU."

Monday, he will have plenty of time (and money) to finish his degree during the offseason. When you are taken in the first round, you take the money. Besides, the Astros scouting department seems to think he is just fine.

Agree with what was said about Correa will probably bump over to third in the next season or two and Bregman will play comfortably at SS at MMP before long

I love Bregman but didn't see this coming. Congrats to a great young man!

Actually, I think it's more likely that Correa slides over to third and Bregman stays at short. Correa is expected to put on muscle, as he is 6'4 and has a bigger frame than Bregman. The Astros currently have a bit of a hole at third - Valbuena is past his prime.

I don't think there's much chance of Bregman playing second, as the astros have Altuve: a great second baseman and current batting champ, as mentioned before.

He will play 3rd base for the Astros, true they do have their SS in Correra, the #1 prospect in baseball and All-Star and MLB Batting Champion José Altuve at 2nd. So I think he can fit in well at the Hot Corner... Just what I see happening.

MLB Network did not have alot to say about him. Peter Gammons was the only one that was positive.

Before you spout "trade bait" pay attention to major league player/position projections. He'll be playing 2nd like Lsu101 said.

"Trade bait...they already have their SS for the future in Correra. #1 prospect in baseball"

Bregman is projected by many to slide over to second base.

Either way he deserves it, really made college worth it. Made himself millions by coming to LSU.

And we the fans benefit.
