After yesterday's Masters round, Scottie Scheffler wasn't digging this question asked by Sirius XM and CBS Sports HQ golf reporter Jason Sobel..

It's a stupid question because he shot a 65 at the Master's. The lowest round ever was a 63.

Why was the cameraman zoomed in on his lips?

not really a dumb question. Every golfer wants a few shots back from every round. Now yes, Scottie had an incredible day, but there are always a few mistakes that all players make, even those shooting 65. I think Scottie knows that, and that's why he was upset about that question - because he only lost by 1 stroke and knows he could've squeezed another stoker or two from Sunday's round.

Or its a better question asked on Thursday, Friday or saturday when he didnt have as good a round. He didnt lose tournament on Sundays effort he lost it over tge 3 days prior. But asking him that on sunday was dumb

I don't think I could have resisted deadpan answering "18" and waiting for the reporter's response.

It was a 65 and a great round, BUT, it was so very close to being historic and perhaps the greatest round ever at the Masters and arguably in a professional golf tournament . I might have phrased it differently but I don't think it was a bad question.

Really not a dumb question in the bigger picture that every question after a round is a dumb question. You can hear the followup at the end of this video “what enabled you to go low today?”. That is a dumb MFing question. I’d argue dumber than the one he turned down. It’s a generic arse question asked every time and a generic answer every time. Scottie could have at least shot 1 stroke better since he barely missed a birdie putt on 17 on the edge of the cup, which would have tied him with Rory and put them in a playoff. So no, not that dumb of a question. He played an amazing weekend two rounds, people can’t expect him to do much better, but to turn down that question seems stupid

Horrible question

Every golfer knows they left something out there. Not a terrible question. Maybe Scottie was on a high that he worked himself back in the hunt.

Not sure why it's a bad question, as I'm sure he wasn't perfect and happy with every shot and hit some better than intended, but to each their own.

He shot seven under in one round at the masters and the dumb arse asked what he could have done better. He shouldn’t have even acknowledged the guy.
