After Georgia defeated Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl on Monday night, Bulldogs LB Lorenzo Carter rocked these amazing shoulder pads that read “Attack the day”, “Attack the ball” and the word “SAVAGE”...

Carter was responsible for blocking a 27-yard field goal attempt by Austin Seiber to keep the score deadlocked 48-48.

I knew the "Turnover Chain" would start shite like this. 1 unique idea and a bunch of bad copycats.

UGA was doing the shoulder pads since preseason camp. This idea for the defense was brought over from Alabama by coach Mel Tucker (Alabama uses a belt). Last year UGA used a Lacrosse stick and this year it evolved into the “spike squad”. So, if you think this was an original/unique idea of UM, guess again. It’s been done by schools before UGA or UM used it.
