Pope Francis has a new pair of custom Nike Blazer kicks to add to his collection...
quote:

TMZ Sports has learned ... Father Jim Sichko wanted to gift Pope Francis something "special and unique" while visiting the Vatican this week ... and not the same ol' kinda present he gets all the time.

So, he hit up True Blue Customs out in Lexington, Kentucky a few weeks ago to put some kicks together for the Pope ... and they delivered!

The finished result are some Nike Blazer Mid 77' Vintage kicks painted white and yellow/gold -- the same colors as the Pope's flag -- and a detailed portrait of his coat of arms displayed on the sides.

Can we as straight men finally stop using "gift" as a verb? It's stupid, and everyone who started using it at about the same time is also stupid.

This article lends itself to so many jokes that I'm too overwhelmed to come up with just one.

Where did Father Jim get the cash to pay for the custom kicks and travel expenses to the Vatican?

From an evil capitalist company in an evil capitalist country? He'll give those to the next kid thru the door.
