Surprised he hasn't gotten another college job. A&M is nearly an impossible job to go better than 8-4 in. And he managed it a couple of times. That's miraculous. IIRC, he never had a losing record. Wonder if he's fed up with the college game.

While he did ok at Houston and A&M, he was a disaster at Arizona, his last college job. Went 9–20 there before being fired partway through season #3.

Sumlin sucks. His last 8 years as a college HC he had an overall record in conference play of 25-38.
