Heart. Pure heart. Watch Idaho State's Shelby Erdal complete the women's 400-meter hurdles final at the Big Sky Track and Field Championships after rupturing her Achilles' tendon during back stretches. She's a senior and this was the final race of her career...

I tip my beer to you, Shelby Erdal.

I tore mine 5 weeks ago playing basketball so I know what that feels like. Much respect to her.

One time I stretched a muscle in my shoulder reaching into a cooler for a Miller.

Good for her. That was more impressive than winning the conference. Much respect Shelby!!

tough girl and I respect her grit, but I don't think that was a "complete" rupture of the Achilles. I don't think people can jog a quarter miles and step over a bunch of hurdles after a complete tear. Maybe a partial tear (still bad) but not complete.
