If you watched Saturday's fight you saw Mike Tyson looking in shape and focussed, so you would assume he was clean from his usually marijuana use for the bout. Nope. That wasn't the case at all. He was high as a kite...

Mike Tyson wasn’t just high off his celebrated return to the boxing ring at age 54.

The boxing icon said he smoked marijuana prior to his eight-round exhibition bout Saturday against Roy Jones Jr. at Staples Center.

“Absolutely yes… Listen, I can’t stop smoking,” the former heavyweight champion of the world told reporters after his first fight in 15 years. “I smoked during fights. I just have to smoke, I’m sorry. I’m a smoker. … I smoke everyday. I never stopped smoking.”

The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association tested Tyson and Jones Jr. for performance-enhancing drugs prior to the bout, which ended in an unofficial draw, but weed was not on the list of banned substances.
...
“It’s just who I am,’’ Tyson said. “It has no effect on me from a negative standpoint. It’s just what I do and how I am and how I’m going to die. There’s no explanation. There’s no beginning, there’s no end.”

Why does anyone give a frick. The guy is centered, civil, at peace and pretty fricking funny now that he smokes weed. Leave his arse the frick alone.

He sounds addicted to a non-addictive drug.

mental addiction vs physical addition. Kind of like video game addictions. Mental addictions are very much real.
