Where you at Guinness? Budweiser has released this new commercial starring UFC Conor McGregor...



Does anybody else think it's weird he's kind of walking in Ireland and then is suddenly in LA? And where is Bono? I'm sure the plan was to release this after he beat Nate Diaz last weekend, however that did not happen.

Not sure if it's still true, but a few years back, Guinness was considered an old man's drink in Ireland and younger people preferred American beers like Budweiser. Might be why they jumped on this.

weird, he also has longer hair in the first part of the commercial and a buzz at the end

They seem to using the person walking across the foreground as a screen wipe to transition from a humble upbringing to the spotlight of Sunset Blvd. The hair must just be part of the transition. I didn't even notice until I saw your comment.
