Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee spoke with the media on Thursday and said that redshirt freshman Tyler Queen will miss the Tigers Spring Game this Saturday after he suffered an injury during last week’s scrimmage.

Queen is expected to return to action for summer practices. Per AL.com:
quote:

"I think Tyler's going to be OK long term," Lashlee said. "He got dinged up in the scrimmage Saturday and fell on his AC (joint.) I don't expect it to be anything that will require surgery, but he'll be out for the rest of the spring."

Too bad, he is already sporting a Freddie Kitchens belly. He could've been a good one.

Tyler is never going to play QB on the field at Auburn. Still not sure why they offered him. Went to my daughters HS, and I'd love to see him do well, but not a fit for Gus' offense.

Hence the problem, why are we offering schollys to those that likely will never see the field?

Do you just search for Tyler Queen every day on here? You have to same copy/paste reply every time he's brought up.

I know right! At AU, they can play DBs and TEs at QB and still win the SEC.. It feels good.
