Former Arkansas tight end Shamar Easter announced his signing with North Carolina this week.
The redshirt sophomore from Ashdown, Ark., appeared in just two games last season, catching one pass for 16 yards.
Easter was rated the No. 2 available tight end in the portal this spring.
