that ball had zero chance of going in. It was matter of millimeters, and if they call goaltending there, it's a hyper-technical call that changes the entire game, when that ball wasn't going in.

Agreed. Looked like half the ball was below the rim. Can't be goal tending if the ball is below the rim. If it was obviously not goal tending then there's no need to make any call.
