We just got the infinity qx60 for my wife. A bit bigger than those, but I certainly don't mind driving it. I think the two best "value", semi-luxury SUV options are the qx60 and the MDX.

It'll be our 4th BMW with no real issues that I couldn't handle.

Those are all ~$42k+ SUVs. Not sure what you're looking at to say that. XC90=X5=Q7...

Not the X3. It's garbage. And I'm a big BMW supporter.

X5 or don't do a BMW SUV.

My wife had the XC90 and my sister has the XC60. No issues with either. My wife really liked the XC90. Both would recommend them.
XC90 weighed more than a Tahoe when we bought it. They're safe cars.

My wife really likes her XC60. 35K trouble free miles so far.

You could give me to her for an hour and she would be a lot happier.

Don't listen to the poors in here telling you to get a Sorrento or something more affordable. Most are just jealous that they don't have the means to afford a proper luxury vehicle.

Q5 is reliable and nice. Fiancé has one. Would recommend.

Check out the GLE Coupe as well

My wife has a 2016 xc60 and she likes it. The 2018s look amazing.

The new model (2016 and up) xc90 is considered by many to be the best SUV available. The q7 is also very highly regarded.
