E.g. I can fly to Europe using 60k Chase Ultimate Reward transferred to Singapore Air to fly in Singapore Suites. That would likely run > $5k. Would I normally spend that kind of money on travel, no, but that's the appeal to me
can you advise what route and on what airline this wou...

re: My Biggest Beefs With Breaking Bad - 632627
In other words, I actually would have found it odd if they all of a sudden made an attempt to "get more" out of that character in that it wouldn't have been congruent with his depiction over the entirety of the series. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that maybe you don't go trying to add ...

re: Three episodes in, is True detective S2 living up to the name? - 632627
In all honesty, the story for Season One was not really that entertaining. What made Season One so good was the casting of McConaughey and Harrelson (plus throw in the nudity of Alexandra Daddario). If you had Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams (or Vince Vaughn) in the same roles as Matthew and...
yea we're def. at a point of agreeing to disagree. I think Gilligan gave Walt Jr. enough of that IMO. I don't think that kid could have pulled off anything better anyway. As someone else said he's Anthony Jr from the Sops or Glen from Mad Men.
For me, Anthony jr on sopr...

re: German Luxury Car Brands Dominate and Look to Extend Their Lead - 632627
Kinda want to try a BMW next but everytime I compare to Audi I find I like Audi design better and it is less expensive. Audis on average have luxury frist, and sport second. BMW in my experience has been the opposite. Just depends on what you want.
I just got an Audi S5 after ...
Shooting it in boring Los Angeles was a mistake
honestly this has nothing to do with the show sucking. They are using aspects of LA that have really been featured in film or tv before. The whole Vinci/Vernon connection is actually pretty cool. It doesn't have the supernatural ...
Wife and I are officially booked to go August 7-9. Wish we could stay longer but o well.
my wife and I did 3 nights and it was perfect. You can still see a lot(if not all the desirable parts) of the city in that time. Chicago is nowhere near the size and doesn't have nearly as ...

re: Explore the Corrupt Town that Inspired True Detective S2 - 632627
good read. There is another "city" near Vernon called Maywood that is very corrupt as well. Ironically, one of my old college professors ended up as the chief of police there. I don't know what it is about the southern point of LA county that attracts so much corruption....
My biggest issue with this show was that I disliked all of the characters more and more each episode. There was literally nobody I was pulling for by the end, though I was still very much invested. One of the best series ever. Fly episode was absolute garbage. This is pretty much where I...
I really don't understand the bashing of this show. I'm enjoying it, but it obviously isn't going as well as season one (yet), but that would be ridiculously high expectations to even have to expect the same as the previous story.
The issue is NP is trying to do a character stud...
Two Heisman winners vs. the most unstoppable QB in the country. That Texas comeback is the stuff of legends. I remember the footballgasm I had when Vince Young ran the ball into the endzone for the final score. It was the greatest game I had ever seen. Absolutely amazing.
the fee...
