Homicide: Life On The Street The best cop drama ever on basic TV, by far It was so far ahead of it's time and so far above anything else back then it's almost unimaginable. It made shite like NYPD Blue seem completely amateurish.
I was going to post this but i thought it was ...

re: The failure of crossfit comes from the top - by one of the crossfit elites - 632627
Good principles (which I favor) , bad applications (which is my main criticism of crossfit) Complex motor movements with heavy weight to exhaustion is a bad idea
Yup. The Olympic and power lifts aren't meant to be done til exhaustion. As the body tires, proper form(which is...
Yeah, those never happen. Shoulda been the Cal-Stanford play anyway.
the fact that "the play" didn't make it out of it's bracket is laughable. it's the most replayed and recognized sequence in the history of organized football. ...
like I said, 18 hour stalk hunt. And yes, being 50 yds away from a huge cat that could slice you into 10 pieces in 1 second is a huge rush.
Really? what caliber rifle was the lion armed with? Sounds like a fair fight and a huge rush to me....

re: What movie genre do you hate the most? - 632627
another thing about romcom's is that for the most part they are never bad, unwatchable movies. they might be cheesy, but they are lighthearted and mildly entertaining. if you look at the horror genre for instance, there are a ton of movies that are absolutely awful and unbearable. ...
But thinking back to one of the 1st replies on page 1, the dude said he's 9 inches taller and 75lbs heavier. If he's already in great shape, I really don't think it's crazy to think he gets 3 months of training and could just overpower her in a fight, right? NOt saying he'll win easily or sho...
In general, I think monetized hunts that go toward conservation are fine, assuming the money goes to what it is supposed to and has the impact of precluding poaching due to the financial incentive. The people who partake, IMO, are pieces of shite for the most part who want to pay thous...

re: Any OBer's own a HK VP9 - 632627
I had a vp9 and ppq and liked the ppq slightly better. As a stock striker fired polymer gun those are the 2 best. Which one you like is personal preference based on ergonomics. I put an apex fss trigger kit and ended up liking my m&p better than both the ppq and vp9 so I sold those....

re: Up for an phone upgrade...Trying to decide between iphone 6+ or Galaxy S6 Edge - 632627
I recently made the switch from android to iOS and the one thing that is most noticeable is that iOS apps are much nicer than their android counterparts. The battery life on the iPhone 6+ is almost unreal. There will be a learning curve and obviously some features of android you miss, but go...
but JP is in the top tier of GOAT popcorn flicks.
actually here is the difference for me, JP is a cookie cutter popcorn flick, while T2 was more of a grown man action movie(like Die Hard) that featured groundbreaking CGI. Neither movie was gonna win a best picture Oscar, but I c...
The time paradoxes alone take it out of contention. I mean, great, fun action film, but JP is far superior. JP is also more influential by a good bit.
Actually i think T2 is more influential as it was the first movie to fully take advantage of CGI. And if you are saying JP is ...
