Q7 and XC90 are best two looking SUVs in the market today. The Volvo wins out though on looks alone.

Didn't say anything about reliability or cost of ownership though.

If you buy a Volvo, you get a free trip to Sweden, so there's that.

The quality of my Volvo was terrible. I had to replace the majority of the electrical components before 75k miles.

My parents had the XC-90 and it was always breaking. Take that fwiw. It's a shame because I think they look really good and have great crash test ratings.

I would probably go Infiniti

Yeah, they have a promotion where they fly you out to Sweden and you go to the manufacturer to pick up your car and you can drive it around Sweden for a few days. Then they ship it to you.

I'm guessing it's only for certain makes and models but it's a neat idea

The cheapest. That way, when she totals it next week, you can go buy another.

It's a deal Volvo has through the Swedish tourism department. You find a dealer that participates (most of them), go to said dealer, and you design your car. You get to decide on all of the options that are advertised but that you don't usually get a say on. Also, you pay straight MSRP. There are no rebates, promotions, etc....what they say the cost is, that's what you pay.

Several months later when Volvo has made your car, you get 2 round trip plane tickets to Sweden. You get a tour of the Volvo factory, a 1-2 night stay in a nice hotel, and a full walk-through of your vehicle. Afterwards, Volvo will pay up to about 14 days worth of insurance for you to drive wherever you want. Some stay in Sweden, some drive to other countries, etc. You have the option to pay for extended coverage if you go longer. Once you are done, you bring it back to Volvo, and they ship it to your dealership.
