Yes, the hardcore republicans here believe it is a liberal show even though they were moderate characters
Ehhh, the president was pretty moderate. And overall, they weren't super liberal. But the staff most certainly made it known that they had liberal ideals. I find it very...
also, whataburger in TX > LA
We had a what a burger when I was in high school and it was awful. Cold (as in not fully cooked) food, long wait.....just terrible service. Always thought it was a shitty chain. Then I moved to Texas and there is one down the road. Now it's gr...

re: Isn't It Lovely When People Break Into Your Home? - KG6 on 2/18/17 at 8:36 am
He said the biggest deterrent to a burglar, one of those security system signs you stick up in your yard.
I mean, this is pretty much true. Even with an alarm activated, they have 30 seconds to take what they want without the alarm even sounding. Then minutes before someone gets...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: HOKA running shoes--anybody have experience? - KG6 on 2/18/17 at 8:17 am
I am a fore foot striker with underpronation.
I'm far from an expert, but I thought striking mid or forefoot kind of removed the pronation issues. Pronation is how your foot rolls from the heel to ball of your foot. It you aren't heel striking, you arent going to do that. St...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: HOKA running shoes--anybody have experience? - KG6 on 2/17/17 at 7:49 pm
I run in Altras right now (first pair). They are comfy shoes, but they don't have a lot of stiffness in the sole. They flex A LOT. Might not be great with a foot injury. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: HOKA running shoes--anybody have experience? - KG6 on 2/17/17 at 7:47 pm
They are different. Low drop which is not normal on heavily cushioned shoes. Really high platform. I tried them once. Felt strange being on such high platforms, but I'm sure you get used to it. The low drop thing can take sometime to get used to. You'll possibly have sore calves for a bit. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: Leftover pizza in the fridge - KG6 on 2/17/17 at 1:07 pm
I eat almost any leftover up to a week in the fridge. Pizza would never last that long though....it's usually gone the next day. Like someone else said, I leave pizza on the counter overnight sometimes and eat a slice for breakfast. Never once got sick. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: OT home haircutters - KG6 on 2/16/17 at 9:21 pm
Anyone use one of these. I hate cleaning up hair. Looks like it would work great for a beard, and I could possibly keep all my hair in it when shaving my head. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: What's your resting heart rate/ age? - KG6 on 2/15/17 at 3:40 pm
Distance runners tend to have a really low resting HR
It's not just running. It's anyone with good cardio fitness. I'm sure crossfit bros have a good resting HR. When I'm in shape, sub 50 is easy. My "walking around" HR is usually in the low 70's. I rarely take my true restin...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: I don't understand how someone can buy a nice boat and let it go to $#!+ - KG6 on 2/15/17 at 3:29 pm
Man, I bet most of you'd have a coronary if you saw how one of my family members treats his stuff. Or at least used to. Offshore center console used to sit under an oak tree all winter. Had a cover on it, but t-top was still exposed and shite still got black. Every spring was a shite ton of elbow ...

re: Credit cards with no interest - KG6 on 2/15/17 at 9:51 am
Yeah, there are tons of cards with introductory rates at 0%, but if he's having trouble paying off a card, he may not have a great credit score. Or he may have a great score if he's never missed a payment. In any case, even if the card is 0%, they charge a percentage fee for balance transfers....

re: How often do you get a haircut? - KG6 on 2/14/17 at 6:07 am
I go to this place that just implemented this pretty cool plan. It's a subscription deal or whatever where you get one haircut every 4 weeks and then a trim every 2 weeks. re: Why did disposable razors become popular? - KG6 on 2/13/17 at 10:16 pm
Maybe I just learned the technique when I got to feathers. They are supposed to be the sharpest, so they have the Rep for being easiest to cut you. I personally have never had an issue. Love shaving against the grain with a new blade. One blade lasts me about 5 shaves. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
