To life.

Better economy. Better housing. Better schools. Better culinary diversity. Lower crime. No state income tax. New Orleans possibly gives Houston a run for its money, but when taking into account everything, it's like comparing Memphis to San Francisco.

I look forward to your uneducated, criticizing response showing your lack of intelligence and love for Nola Life.

You left out a real international airport.

I'm pretty excited about having access to that if we move.

Same thing happens in BR.

Translation: Houston uses tax dollars to invest in infrastructure, attracts business with sound fiscal policy, and doesn't elect big government, welfare loving liberal governors like Louisiana is about to do.

Nashville is our #2.

They just don't pay as much there unfortunately

Houston has a lot of our friends.

Nashville is just my brother in law there. Bama grad. I've lost our bet 5 times in a row

Houston: we have a bigger population than Chicago, and less culture than Iowa City.

And it still takes you 30 minutes to get to work.

And you paid $1M for your house (unless you live in North Downtown)

He must be talking about the type of culture that robs high end restaurants in new orleans while patrons are enjoying their dinner.

$500k!!! You can't live in the Heights for $500k. Not anymore.

Eh. Only if you are in the Burbs. HISD is amazing for how big it is, but the schools are far from good. Many are terrible. Even in well to do areas.

While Houston housing is expensive, this is one of the most hyperbolic statements I've ever seen on this board.

Yes there are houses in Montrose and The Heights that are 1M, but that is not even remotely the norm.
