MKT Bar has a decent wine list I think. Uber it over to Reef for one of the best wine lists in town, sit in the bar area if she doesn't want to sit alone in the dining room....

Nothing is walking distance in this heat. Nothing decent anyway. Closest thing I'd recommend is Phoenicia MKT Bar Main Street has a bunch of bars...Pastry War, OKRA, Moving Sidewalk, Honeymoon Bar Or Uber it over to El Tiempo or Original Ninfas...both on Navigation. Or head to Midtown......

Go to Franklin or La BBQ instead, both are actually IN Austin. The Salt Lick sauce is good but that's about it. If you're gonna drive outside Austin for BBQ, you'd be better off driving to Lockhart(Kruez or Smitty's) or Luling (City Market)....
