He's definitely been late on his throws as well. They've got to get that under control. That would improve the passing greatly as well.

Hopefully its all correctable. I think thats the underlying concern going into Nov.

The game against Bama will be close, but we still will not be passing the ball.

And when LSU wins that one, will your panties still be in a wad?

So there's a drop off when a teams best player isn't on the field? Breaking news.

There is a drop off when your best player isn't on the field. But when one of the best players ever isn't on the field it's a cliff.

I haven't seen a game yet this year that the defence wasn't lined up to stop the run. If LF would only stop having 20, 30, 60 yard runs, maybe we could get in situations where we had to throw more. I wasn't able to watch game yesterday, but I think we will be able to throw enough to win. The play action will work better when we get to nov. able to run are not.

I'm more worried about the defence than I am about the passing game.

Still 3-0. And easily would of been overv200 yds if not for 5+ drops, 3 alone by Diarse

Apex tiger Just preached the truth and you wieners don't want to hear it. We need our receivers to catch more and make about 5 more passing attempts per game. Also need to use run formations like we used against Auburn. We ran out of shotgun a lot and wildcat. Those things wi keep Bama, and Rebels off balance.

We better get a passing game..Bama and Ole Missy will stop LF enough to force long 3rd downs...
Bama might be a tough team to run on, but I don't think Ole Miss will be. Bama was gashing them, and had it not been for an entire season's worth of breaks, Ole Miss loses that game (and still almost did).

LF can not carry us to a title by himself

What if he tweaks an ankle? Then what?

Williams looks slow compared to LF...

Guice dances too much

We have big time talent behind LF,but let's be real, it's a big drop off when he isn't in the game
Fournette is the best back in the game, there'd be a drop off if Nick Chubb was on our roster.

I am less worried about the pass to rush ratio than I am about the lack of tendency breaking.

The Arkansas stats are illuminating. My favorite stat continues to be winning.

Wow. Did anyone watch the game? What about our QB has anyone see that leads them to believe he isn't gifted and is getting the job done in the passing game?

Why do you still have a big question mark there?

Isn't his completion percentage adequate? Isn't his yards per pass adequate? Isn't his turnover rate way way more than adequate? Hasn't his accuracy been way better than the last years QB performance? Hasn't he shined in his passing attempts so far this season?

Sure you want to see more of it right? But if we get more of the same from him isn't that what we have all hoped for?

He has now thrown enough through 3 games that it is obvious he has taken his job seriously this year and learned a hell of a lot... has a hell of an arm and feet and a brain to go with it!

I wanted to get the passing game going and when we passed it pretty much was going well!

How are 5 star wr coming to LSU and more importantly what are coaches telling these kids in their living rooms about LSU and passing game? this is truly mind boggling.

It's Sunday...check the NFL rosters. Full of LSU receivers. And, has been for years. Although we don't throw a ton, we use only a hand full of receivers, thus those receivers can average 5-6 completions per game. Their yearly totals look nice and they're NFL ready because they've played in an NFL style offense.

Where should we be ranked to satisfy you? I'd like to know this

Do you think last is where LSU belongs?

I'd like to know

During the JJ years, we were like 100th

LSU should be in the top 50 of all teams in passing...how is that for answer?

reasonable?

Way too much talent to be this low for so many years...

Conversely, watching TT and TCU made me feel like I was watching a video game.

Just give us balance and show case all the talent we have...

Dupree and Dural are crazy good...

LSU doesn't pass a lot. I'm OK with it. Harris seems to be able to make plays when he needs to. That's what matters to me at this point.

I'm not convinced of that yet. And I don't think those "elite" defensive teams we will play are convinced of that. We better get some meaningful game time passing in VERY soon. We will be pissed off when we can't run as effectively, and have not worked on the passing game because we just relied on the run to carry us through.

Ark throws to TE and slant passes. BH can't or is not allowed.
