re: Tracking Tropical Storm Headed to Gulf - catholictigerfan
toss a coin, heads it will strength into something we should be concerned about, tails it will not do anything and fall apart. Basically, this is what the models are showing. The Euro shows development coming into the gulf about 4 or 5 days out, the GFS (American model) shows nothing in the gul...

re: Look at this cartoon the Times Picayune published. - catholictigerfan
the media continues to push this narrative. Then to add on top of this all this, during a natural disaster in Baton Rouge you bring this up again. Basically they are saying this. Baton Rouge "I know this flooding sucks, but let's remind you of the other crap that has happened in your city. Have fun ...

re: NC Teachers can't call students 'boys and girls':insensitive to tran children - catholictigerfan
Also what is with the difference between sexually and romantically/emotionally attracted too? What are they trying to suggest? Can you be romantically attracted to someone and be sexually attracted to someone else? Who created this crap?...

re: NC Teachers can't call students 'boys and girls':insensitive to tran children - catholictigerfan
So in PE we should combine genders. I mean I know boys are usually more athletic but it's unfair to girls to not give them a chance, right? Alternating boy girl in softball games shouldn't happen either. Even boys and girls in teams not that either. I guess we should get rid of gender-specific ...

re: Not just floods going to favor Badgers - catholictigerfan
this game reminds me of the LSU vs. West Virginia game in 2011, there will be hype, some personalities will push an upset. Wisconsin may find a way to keep it close but in the end, LSU will pull away and show the country how scary we will be this year. ...

re: EBR, Central, LP announcing a curfew tonight - catholictigerfan
EBR parish is more than just baton rouge proper. Zachary and Baker were hit very hard during these storms, they are both in Baton Rouge. I haven't been there but I doubt things are back to normal in bakery and zachary. Sure Baton Rouge proper is but not there. ...

re: EBR, Central, LP announcing a curfew tonight - catholictigerfan
A curfew allows police to question people out past a certain time. A lot of business are abandoned and closed. Instead of cops having to watch every at risk store, they can just question every person out past a certain time. If you were a store owner who's store was damaged by floods you would be fo...

re: EBR, Central, LP announcing a curfew tonight - catholictigerfan
there needs to be an effective way to manage people during a crisis. Maybe it's not curfews. I know it sucks I know limits freedom, but during disasters, the most important thing is to return things to normal, not your ability to stay out past 10pm. ...

re: EBR, Central, LP announcing a curfew tonight - catholictigerfan
I think there is a lot of politics around this. I think it is a good idea, most people would probably not go out anyway, but criminals and others probably would take advantage of the low activty at night. ...

re: How do feel about Maternity and Paternity Leave - catholictigerfan
paid or unpaid should be left up to employee-employer. I would hope companies don't force people into difficult situations because they have to come back to work early because they aren't getting anything, but I would hope employees don't take advantage of paid leave. ...

re: Ferguson protestor in middle of road gets hit by car, gunshots follow. - catholictigerfan
I think the protestors blocked her later down the road, she was forced to turn around and as she passed safely on the other side, she was shot at. She has been fully cooperative with the police, don't think the city will charge her with everything, it was a simple, someone in the middle of the stree...

re: Our offense will be EXPLOSIVE this year. - catholictigerfan
I think we need to be a balanced offence focusing mostly on lining up and running with fournette. We have the plays to run anything we want to, but we can't be one-dimensional. I would want to see 50% run in the I with LF7, 10-20% play fake out of I. 30% spread about half/half run pass, and 10% any ...

re: Our offense will be EXPLOSIVE this year. - catholictigerfan
[quote]If we come out aggressive and spread out the defense, we can be unstoppable. You have to force defenses to play the pass and run. You can't do that with single receiver sets all day. Make them cover both sides of the field and respect the TE. Otherwise, you giving Harris too few options to co...
