Balance is needed to win against elite defensive talent.

I agree.

Look, I love the rushing dominance so far. Except for shutting down the offense against MSU, it's hard to argue with the results.

The issue is what happens when we play better defenses, because that's when we ARE going to need a more balanced offense and passing game. Some people on this board are simply pointing out that fact - that's it's best to get our passing game grooved early in the season against lesser competition.

If we truly have playoff aspirations, we'll have to win some games against some nasty defenses in November and December. So let's Harris plenty of throwing reps now. That's all we're saying.

is LSU right now at this point in the season capable of passing for 250 yards in a single game if needed right now?

I think with the 19th best QBR in the country we are certainly capable. We just dont need to at the moment.

2 of Harris completions came off bombs... if not for for these 2, he doesn't break 80 yards a 3rd game in a row. But we hit them both so maybe call a couple more?

You are rt, but if diarse catches the balls he should catch, harris goes over 200. All im saying is the wrs arent giving the coaches confidence in throwing the ball.

126 out of 128 ????
there were some dropped passes, but we would still not be ranked well.

Did anyone see the Freshman, who was forced to play unexpectedly due to injury to QB and racked up 400 or so yards

not sure if it was Boise State it was on TV thurs night
