Y'all just scared me enough to go get on the scale. I pretty much only ate candy yesterday. Still at my low weight, by some miracle.

Yeah I had bourbon but I slacked on my walking/running this weekend. Normally I do 6-8 miles and I only did 3 miles. Then I ate two burgers and fries vs one and fries. So I went over my calorie goal by 500 yesterday. was a lot lower on Saturday vs Sunday.... Today I'm drinking at Olive or Twist

All stimulants

I guess all of my stimulants were ingest-able in nature. I am removing nearly everything for a no excuse 40 days. Seeing what happens to my body and mind. I know the first two days without coffee will be brutal...ugh.

honestly its for the best. its good for me when I am concentrating on strength and lean bulking to not have any distractions. When dieting I need the support.

and Lazy, no way i could eat that much chicken. screw that. Ill post my bulking macros and plan this week sometime.

So for my lean bulk I am starting on march 5th and running for 13 weeks. Estimating that I will be 182 at the start which is pretty realistic, might be a little below that actually. That would put me at about 10.5%BF.

Gonna do 4 days a week of lifting doing the 531 Boring but Big 3 month challenge but doing first 2 cycles back to back, then deload then do the 3rd and an added 4th the same way. So essentially I am running the assistance work at the prescribed percentages in the article but adding a 65% week then going up to 70%. Doing my own accessory work.

For Diet I will be doing a lean gains type approach. Goal is 1.5 lbs per week gain. This is not realistic but I will also be remodeling my house at the same time so I know I will be burning extra cals and will prolly be in the 0.75 lbs/week range. I will be doing the following percentages

Rest days-
Cals= -47% so 1252/day
Carbs- 0%
Fats-68% - 94.5g/day
Protein-32% - 100g/day

Workout days-
Cals= +91% so 4515/day
Carbs- 40% 450g/day
Fats-20% - 100g/day
Protein-40% - 450g/day

As you can see the cycling of calories and carbs is drastic. I believe this will help me keep fat at bay. I also will be doing a 22/2 eating window on rest days; 16/8 on workout days.

Also will be doing morning fasted walks with a weighted vest and at lunch prolly do abs and cardio everyday(this is more to help/encourage coworkers and not needed).

Overall goal is to gain 6-8lbs of muscle in this time frame. Not sure if thats obtainable or not, but its not unrealistic and is my goal for the next 3 months.

Ill post a picture of diet progress on saturday the 4th then I am going radio silent on here for the rest of lent. Will post another progress pic after the bulk before I start my 6 cut for vacation.

Good luck on the bulk, that in of itself is tough...

I stumbled upon my favorite blogger's youtube videos - which I never thought to look up - but here is one I am loving.

Dr Mike Eades - 'Paleopathology and the Origins of the Paleo Diet'

Forget his theory on humans hunting out glyptodons, that is not true - they died out due to the Younger Dryas events, which he is not a scientist of. It was basically two massive extinction events due to massive climate change.

Yesterday began week 2 of p90x3. Muscles have finally decided to calm the hell down and not be mad at me, so the weight has finally shifted in the right direction (down). Diet is okay...not great, but not bad, but the things that have me being bad are nearly gone and I can simply not get them again (peanuts and peanut butter)

I've never heard of overnight oats until now. It certainly looks better than some cereals for breakfast.

I don't like oats. My feeling towards oats in general is that they don't bleed, so I don't eat them.

Newborn children make this shite difficult.

Thankfully I haven't gained. Unfortunately I haven't lost.

This kid needs to learn to sleep.

One week from today, I'll be touching down in Iceland. Gonna try to live Net's dream of eating fermented shark meat and training at Jakabol.
But first, I'm sure I'll serious derail this weekend for Mardi Gras festivities. Riding Endymion Saturday, and will prob eat everything in sight at the extravaganza.

So, I tracked all my food today and I'm not too worried about my calories. My sugar came in at 14 grams and my total carbs at 76 grams.

Want to keep my sugar under 25 and working to get my carbs to 50 then eventually down to about 20.
