re: Hogs relocates event to UNO - nolaks
I have no delusions that the 501c3 used the park for free. I'd love to be privy to the details of the transaction, why don't you elaborate NOFOX. I wasn't angered by how HOGS used the grounds. I did assume that the overall net effect of the event on city park was a financial loss after all necess...

re: Hogs relocates event to UNO - nolaks
I love the cause, and was at the first hogs, but as a fiscally responsible individual I wondered what had occurred last year when public property was literally trashed by the event. I assume public funding was responsible for the clean up....

re: Mexican dove and duck trip - nolaks
I went to that area and never felt that unsafe. Yeah if it went wrong it would go really wrong, but our guides were ex Mexican military and new how to handle themselves. A bus had run off the road one day. They stopped short put it in 4wd and went very wide around it in the fields. Didn't take a...

re: Anyone here have a Weber Q 1200 or Q 2200? - nolaks
I have a 1200 on the boat. I have a big spirit at the house. The one on the boat is good. It doesn't have what I'd call a precise temperature control, nor is it consistent throughout its cooking area (read as hot spots). For anything really fatty it likes to flame up because the distance between...

re: My trip to Cuba (Tentative Update 7.8.16, More pictures to come) - nolaks
I schedule like that too now when I travel. you think it would take the fun out, but it actually keeps you moving. if you don't feel like sticking to the schedule, when you spot something really cool on your way to one destination, you just side track and go off schedule. However, being scheduled...

re: Who do you think is more intelligent? - nolaks
Awe of success is different than admiration of intelligence. The CEO (BTW that title when self awarded from a sole proprietorship tends to lose some pizazz, but I digress). Inherent intelligence is both easily quantifiable and rare. However, success can be obtained in many forms. For example, yo...
