Glad to see you over here! It's hard to wean off of sugar. So hard. But it feels great when I'm doing it.

I'm down a couple more lbs this morning. I'm lower than my initial goal weight, but still don't feel remotely close to where I want to be. It's interesting how that line changes once we get to it.

This could almost have it's own thread.

What is your recipe for this? I tried doing cauliflower pizza crust the other night and was really disappointed. The other aspects of it turned out nicely.

Melt 3/4 cup of Mozzarella and 3/4 cup cheddar cheese in microwave. Add 1-2 tbsp cream cheese, 1 egg and 3/4 cup Almond meal to cheese. Combine until dough like. I put parchment paper on a pizza stone and then spread the dough out into shape desired.
Bake at 425 10ish minutes until crust starts to brown. Pull out add sauce and toppings then back in 5-10 minutes.

That sounds so much easier than the ordeal I went through with the cauliflower.
I will give that a shot. Thank you!

I tried to cut out sugar but the fruits I consume during the day put me way over. Banana with protein smoothie, mixed berry smoothie, bag of grapes, and apples always leave me well over.

I felt a little guilty eating an orange yesterday. That's how I know I've been low carb brain washed.

I've finally been able to get back on the rails. Going with the formula that got me under 200.
Today I've had three eggs, two pieces of bacon, whey and kale smoothie, 2.5 oz of cashews.
When I get home I'll make another kale and whey smoothie, handful of almonds, then make dinner. I'm not sure what I'm having yet. Something grilled with veggies and a beer or two. I don't know how many carbs that is, or how many grams of protein. I don't care either. I know that the amount of food I take in on days like today is enough to keep my muscles from withering away, and I don't go to bed hungry. I've only been to the gym twice this week. Did chest and back Monday (push and a pull day), and legs this morning.
I'll do a pre Lent weigh in, and one when they nail Jesus to the cross, after 40 days/nights.
Fun fact:
The Hebrews knew Lent as the original cut. It was also the first time a low carb diet was introduced. One serving of Manna is 15 carbs, and 40 grams of protein. So while it didn't meet J.H. Christ's macros, it certainly kept him in ketosis the entire time. His goal weight didn't matter as much as having abs and being shredded, and bringing new meaning to the term 'dead sexy' as he hung there on the cross.
