I've been working/running out fasted and I'm starving at 9:30. I make sure all my staff eat first. Just drink coffee or aminos.

Yeah I typically feel like so turd when I work out Fasted, then am hungry all morning. I prefer to work out in the afternoon if I'm fasting.

What 777 said is what I was thinking. MFP is particularly good if you're eating out often at chains.

I really try not to. But my offerings are slim out here. Subway is my healthy choice and i grow tired of it. I'm not entirely opposed to meal prep, but when i look around for healthy meal options i see a lot of "seared salmon..." or stuff that requires something other than a microwave to make. I know i can reheat salmon in a microwave, just don't care for the taste or texture when that happens.

I already do this, for the most part. I rarely eat breakfast except for the weekends.

Drink a couple of cups of coffee and pound water all morning.. I usually have had about 64oz by noon.

I think i need to up my water intake then. I usually drink about 3-4 16 oz. bottles during the work day, excluding what i drink at lunch.

doesn't take much time but I find it helps me tremendously during the work week (and saves money)

Taking baby steps, grabbed a salad from Rouse's last night for lunch today.

And if you can find time to work out, implementing a full body lifting routine 3x a week will help dramatically.

I do. I do P90X3. I've been doing it sort of half assed for a while, but since i noticed my weight gain i've been really consistent with it, outside of one 4 day stretch that i didn't do any workouts due to being sick. I've been pretty proud of myself recently though. Even doing the stretch workouts that i used to skip, and have been trying to do every workout, so 7 days/week.

Maybe i'm doing the right things, i've just been slipping lately. I just noticed a spike since January. Might be due to the crawfish/sodium boils, king cake, and nightly ice cream that until then, i didn't really eat.

Also, my beer drinking has ticked up since some of Parish's releases. I typically drink 1 beer with dinner every night. But i'm going to impose limits on myself.

look iifym and punch in your stats and use the macros they give you to punch into myfitnesspal. You can eat mcdonalds every day so long as you meet those macros, you will lose weight.

last night was day number 1 for me. I haven't had an apartment the last year and a half that would allow me to do it. don't have a place to put my pull-up bar, so I'm having to use bands with a door anchor, but whatever. It's better than nothing. It kicked my arse yesterday, but not as bad as it had in the past that's for sure. Best I've ever done is about 60 days, skipping the stretching weeks, but those 60 days did wonders.

I'm doing every exercise. I really need the yoga and stretching as i'm not very flexible and it limits what i can do for the yoga and other routines.

Yeah. My goal is to be able to do the moves i used to do. That's how i gauge my progress. I did multiple rounds of the original P90X and a few of P90X3, and i'm just trying to get back to that point again.

The plan is to do 1 round of P90X3, then after this either do another round or do 22 minute hardcore.

See and redirect to the movie "Fat Head"

That was awesome. Is it still on Netflix?

I'm gonna be trashed this week b/c of work.

Slept from about 11pm - 1:30am, got up and had to go in. (planned). Worked from 2am to about 7:30am, got home at about 8am. Slept from about 9:30am til noon, now hoping to be able to take another good nap because I have to get up again tonight (previously unplanned.. work last night didn't go well), and possible again the next night

Beginning to think I need a career change..

300/200/190

So this summer after doing 2 rounds of Body Beast I went from 195 to 210. I need to shed some BF so I've been doing keto for a few weeks. Feeling good and was at 200 this am before my workout.

2 mile warmup, 2 x 2000m @ 7:30 pace, 1 mile cool down. I almost puked!

Ben Greenfield with Nina Teicholz

I casually listen to his podcasts from time to time. Nina Teicholz wrote the book "The Big Fat Surprise" about the healthy components of saturated fats. It really isn't anything different from what we all know already.

It was a good listen for me. I have the book but have yet to read it.

It sucks. I would read on down time at work and it was usually a page to catch up. Now it's like 12 hrs between post.

Most of this week has been spent awake between 2am and 9am and sleeping a few hours here and there, so feeling pretty shitty. My body seems to be handling the schedule OK other than bouts of tiredness. Usually when I have a week like this at work, I have crazy digestive problems and bloat. Neither seems to be the case right now.

I've gotten off of RFL but stayed keto so I can more easily go back to it after this mess at work is done. For valentines day I cooked a massive tomahawk ribeye, asparagus, mushrooms, a blue cheese salad, and shared a nice bottle of red wine. Had spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer.. Used pork rinds instead of chips.

Excited to have leftover ribeye
