Your DC over there is Stacey. 225-684-5496.

EQIP and CRP are completely different programs. I didn't mean that CRP doesn't exist. CRP just has not been active in any of the offices I've worked in.
Hunting guy is right. When you take the cost share money, you are agreeing to maintain that practice for its lifespan. Pasture planting lifespan is 10 years.
You need to make sure you stay up to date on the status of your app/contract. Bug your DC to death to make sure you get the service you should be getting.
I work for NRCS as a district conservationist. Before I get any hate, it's a good job, pays the bills, I get to work with farmers on a daily basis, and yes I pay taxes. Anyway, CRP is a farm service agency program and is pretty much dead. EQIP is a NRCS and is very much alive. Depending on your situation the program should pay about 50% of your cost. What parish are you in?
Don't go helouin. Baker animal hospital does a good job. Personally I don't like cropping ears. It's painful. However, it is the breed standard for Doberman.
