re: I need a meatball recipe

Dom DeLuise's Mom's recipe makes the best meatballs I have ever had.

Dom's Mom's Meatballs

2 pounds ground chuck
1/2 pound ground pork
2 cups Italian-flavored bread crumbs
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped very fine
1 onion, minced
1/2 cup pignoli (pine nuts) (optional)

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Let stand 1/2 hour. Shape into medium-size meatballs. Fry gently in olive oil until lightly browned, or place on foil on a cookie sheet and bake for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Gently place in your own hot spaghetti sauce and cook on medium-low heat for 1 hour.

P.S. What I like to do is quadruple the recipe (you'll have about 100 meatballs) and then place the meatballs on large Teflon baking pans. After they're baked and cooled, I put twenty at a time in large Ziploc bags and pop them in the freezer. Then they're ready, willing, and able anytime!

Serves 10, 2 meatballs per person.

I had two pair in Section 417 Row 32 - same row but seperated by a dozen or so seats. I consolidated the 4 into section 401 row 18. Unfortunately it looks like work will prevent me from making any games this year. Sucks.

Upgrading 4 in 10 minutes. Sec 207 row 6 or do I go with the old visitors sections 401 or 402?
I am fourth generation LSU. My Great-Grandfather and my Grandfather, several Uncles and Aunts all graduated from LSU. Dad had a little too much fun but I was raised as a Tiger. Went to football games starting in the late 70's and loved every single second of it. Left Louisiana in 94 but I still go to games every year.

When I was looking at colleges, I really had no choice where I would go. I got into 2 prestigious East Coast schools but they had no football team. So I choose LSU.

My advice to kids looking at colleges is to pick one with a great football program (of course I just say LSU but you have to give them a choice sometimes). You can get a great education anywhere if you apply yourself but you cannot create the camaraderie, the passion and the spirit that I see in LSU Tigers around the world.

My wife is from Pennsylvania and went to a school without football and she truly does not understand how I feel about LSU - the football and the school.

Have not made it to August yet but was disappointed by GW Fins. If you have a free evening try Restaurant Patois. It was the best meal I had when I was in NOLA in December

I am also here in AF. Everytime I walk around with my LSU gear I get soldiers coming up and telling me they are from Louisiana. Tons of Tiger Fans here.

Getting up at 0430 to watch the game.

Geaux Tigers!!!!!
The NFL just fined Andrew Whitworth $10K for defending himself when the Jacksonville Jaguars' John Henderson tried to gouge his eyes out. Henderson was fined the EXACT SAME AMOUNT. Henderson should have been fined significantly more and suspended. Let the NFL know that this was a bad decision.

Here is a video of the assault on NFL.com.

Call or write the NFL regarding Whit's and Henderson's fines.

Dear Commissioner Goodell,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the NFL's announcement to levy the same penalty against Andrew Whitworth and John Henderson for greatly disparate offenses.

John Henderson's attack on Whitworth merits a much greater fine than 10k and should have been
accompanied by a multiple game suspension. Your failure to appropriately address Henderson's brutal eye gouging sends a message to the rest of the NFL that players can viciously attack other players without fear of significant penalty.

This is not the NFL that I want to watch. If this trend continues I am certain the NFL's popularity will wane. I urge you to reevaluate the NFL policies on assessing penalties and repeal Whitworth's fine.

Whitworth - Henderson Fight

Andrew was just defending himself when Henderson was trying to gouge his eyes out.
