I think this is by far their best team and give them good odds on winning the whole thing. Would obviously not be favored against KY but anyone else if fair game.
Pangos, Wiltjer and Sabonis are all very good players and this team will not go out to an 8/9....

I was in Miami a couple of weeks ago. J Wakefield has already had their soft opening a couple of weekends ago and was only open Thursday-Sunday and I had to fly out on Wedensday. Tap room looks great online though.

We went down that road with Tommy Joe Eagles in the late 80's. I'm not saying that guy is not a good coach but we need the equivalent of James Franklin at Vanderbilt for Basketball. We need a creator of a brand not a good manager of an existing program....

I started the Buzz Williams thread but would be happy with Pearl as well. Both of them have a wide relationship base in recruiting circles and I believe would be able to up the talent in short order....

Agreed. I think he would bring in some players quickly and not have to take the cast offs from that academy in Orlando....

I think the expectations he may be referring to are connected to Marquette's Jesuit affiliation.
I don't believe Buzz is famous for bringing in choir boys.
With that said, everyone that is hung up on the Under Armour issue would see an appreciable jump in talent under Williams.

Not sure the reasoning but he is from Texas and might want to leave the frozen tundra.
It's obvious Auburn will never be a basketball recruiting powerhouse so it would make sense to bring in someone with the JUCO ties like Williams has.

Heard from several reliable sources that a name with a lot of initial support is Buzz Williams at Marquette. Would be a strong hire for Jethro Jacobs.
