I'd just like to point out that it's awesome that we have the gift of being able to run (and argue about) 4 studs of running backs.

I don't get all the hate you're getting. You aren't flaming, and have a legit concern.
If we would have gotten a regional with Coastal Carolina and Southern Alabama (or whatever those fairly good 3/4 seeds with an ace are named) and played like tonight with 5 errors + 2 bad, bad plays, or last night running into each other and having to go deep in the bullpen, we could very well be sitting at 1-1 in OUR regional. We need to get our heads out of our asses.

We'll be pumped for ULL and most likely Okla in the super, so we'll be playing good baseball from now on out. :geauxtigers:
I think Deion Jones becomes one.
Kind of like in the past few years our DB's went from Peterson to Claiborne to Mathieu to Mills/Collins and our LB's went from Sheppard to Minter.
The past few years, Chief has recruited a line of players that step up each year, and I think that Jones becomes one of the players that becomes great!
:geauxtigers:
Does every announcer have to say Raph is having a "down" year? jesus christ.
I'll take those down if you want, dont want to clutter your thread

I'd do a full list of all SEC teams, but It's a pain to have to search each page with Ctrl + F.

But seriously.
Here's a quick table I made of 8 stats (4 offensive, 4 defensive).
I highlighted the best in each category in green, and the worst in red.
I then put the SEC contenders (.500 or better SEC record) head-to-head by comparing the median and mean stats.

If there's interest, I'll keep this thread running and updated so that you can see your team's improvement (or lack thereof) each week.
I might have beat you to the punch.

Not trying to steal your thunder, but i made the same table last week with stats from 4/1/13, and wanted to post this week's without starting a thread for it.
:geauxtigers:
I'll just leave this here.
Green indicates highest, red indicates lowest in each category.
Only put teams above .500 in SEC play.

Will definitely update that chart tomorrow on SEC & Tiger rant. Or whenever the NCAA updates its stats.

If there's any interest, I can update the charts when new stats come out and post it in the stats thread on the sec rant or create a thread of its own.?

Easy to read and it has colors!
Made this a few nights ago when the piggies were flaming on the SEC Rant. (NCAA stats, not SEC)

Green indicates highest in category, red lowest
