I've never seen so much Fartknocker hype over a player that has never even taken a snap in a real game.

I said that because I knew it would get a reaction, that's why it was under my real prediction!

Play action to Blue, Mett hits Juice on a 15 yard comeback route.

OR

Jennings throws a 70 yard TD to Q after scrambling around and making 5 people miss.... One day.....

I don't know of many "second tier" players who have offers from UGA, Texas, Bama, USC, and ND....

Cameron Sims

Do you expect to see LSU offer Cameron Sims if one or two of our main receiver targets commit elsewhere? He's 6'4" 190 and ESPN has him as the #6 WR in the class (and he is from Monroe,LA). I personally like big receivers so I say we go after him.

As far as break out seasons go, I think Q will have a huge season. Mett finally has a big tall receiver and a lot of attention will be payed to Juice and OBJ. I'm saying he has at least 750 yards and 8 TDs this season.
LSU-38
TCU-17

I'm completely buying in to the offensive hype. I would love to see us come out on the first drive and score throwing the ball.

Today... Harris

Tomorrow... LF, C-Rob, Garrett, Dupre, D. Williams, Laurence Jones, Speedy, Tony Brown, GWIII....
What are the odds we get this kid? I haven't really followed his recruitment.

Clifton Garrett Interview

Just read this interview on bleacher report, pretty solid read. A lot of questions about LSU, his top 5, when he'll commit. I couldn't find any threads on it so here it is

When you go to class for 2 hours a day and then have nothing to do for the next 22 hours... you play quite a bit of xbox.

Plus I skipped the easy games and only controlled the offense so games are half the time.

and for those who were wondering NCAA 14 plays better than any other football game I have played in years.

2013 Dynasty in NCAA 14

Posted by Williamf30 on 7/10/13 at 11:35 pm
Just finished the SEC Championship in my LSU Dynasty and thought I would post how the season has played out, it is very familiar.

Leading Rusher: Blue 1016 yds. 18 TD's

Passer: Mett 2411 yds. 21 TD's

Receivers : Landry-830 yds. , Leslie-715 yds. , Beckham Jr.-488 yds, Desean Smith- 345 yds.

I went 11-1 (lost at Georgia, but beat #1 Bama in a #1 vs. #4 game. After beating Bama I moved up to #2 and they dropped to #4) I just played the SEC championship in which I beat Georgia 31-10. Now I am ranked #1 and getting ready to play the BCS National Championship and you'll never guess who is sitting at #2.

#1 LSU vs. #2 Alabama

Even in video games.......

Running back options

If we do end up losing JH33, who would you pick as the starting RB?

Kenny Hilliard, Alfred Blue, or Terrance Magee

I say Blue, I feel like he will be a household name by the end of the year, but I do look forward to seeing Hilliard in action after getting into better shape.
On that C Rob interview it sounds like he wants to say LSU but thinks he shouldn't after he says "I feel at home when im at.." :geauxtigers:

2012 vs. 2013

Why is everyone expecting so little from us this season. There is literally no respect for this team. I have seen rankings that put LSU as low as #18.. I personally think this team will end up finishing 10-2 or better in the regular season.

Look at the offense:

With a proven offensive coordinator, a senior QB who has the ability to become a superstar, a stable of talented running backs, two of the best receivers in the SEC plus the addition of Q and Brazil, and a more than solid offensive line this offense could be nasty. If Hill's punishment isn't bad and Mett improves his pocket presence, I see this offense in the top 20 nationally.

Defense:
On the line Ego and Freak will lock down the inside run, Hunter and Rasco have the speed to stop the run on the outside. At linebacker I think Barrow and Kwon will be All SEC and Beckwith will make an immediate impact. In the secondary Papa, both Jalens, Tre White, and Ronald Martin is a pretty solid unit top to bottom. Plus this defense is young and energetic and a lot of players will need to prove themselves so I expect a lot of big hits and firey plays out of these kids.

While I love the fact that people are sleeping on us, I hate having to hear people say LSU will finish 9-3 or 8-4, I just don't see that happening. :geauxtigers:
I see Garrett being one of those linebackers that will take control of games. I just think he will be a star in college. And Speedy looks like he could turn into a Tavon Austin type receiver.

I like the possibility of Jennings throwing to a Tavon Austin type guy when he's not handing it to LF.
If forced to take one offensive and one defensive player from this class other than LF to build this team around, who would you take?

Offense- Speedy
Defense- Garrett
