We do have a chance at Harbaugh, despite what you guys believe

The longer it goes, the more I believe it.

Zero chance that he was actually "offered their job".

Most likely just gauging interest.

The problem is Dave Brandon

Wouldn't say it's all Carr's fault, but it was more than just Brandon.

Admin practically ran RR off from the word go.

I wouldn't bet on any news soon. The new AD Hackett wants to land Jim Harbaugh, and while this probably is a long shot, he'd be committing professional negligence not to make a full out effort. Keep in mind the two are good personal friends.

If Michigan gets a clear indication that Harbaugh isn't coming, they'll quickly move on to Mora or Mullen. I'm a huge fan of Miles, too, but I don't think he'll be offered. Harbaugh hasn't shut down the speculation so far. The longer this process continues, the better Michigan's shot at Harbaugh.

I agree. Until Harbaugh flat out says he not taking the Michigan job, I'll still have hope.

Even if he does say he's not taking it, I still may have hope. After all, Saban's not leaving Miami for Bama, right?

The problem with Michigan is the dysfunction right now
No big time coach wants to touch it right now because of the uncertain AD position - he may or may not get the job.
Who will your boss be?
Michigan should have hired an AD first and foremost but now you have two high profile positions open and too much uncertainty out there.
Plus what is Michigan willing to pay. If they are not in the $4 million range you can kiss Miles and any other big time coach good bye.
Numbers may be holding them back

No big time coach would like to be remembered as the guy who turned Michigan back into a powerhouse program? Okay.

Looks more and more like Hackett is going to be the guy. If he lands a big time hire, the job is his.
The longer it goes without any news, the more I hope this is the case.

Probably just setting myself up for disappointment, but still.
Until he flat out says he's not going to AA, I'm keeping the faith.
If it's true Les hasn't heard from Michigan, I'm hoping it's because they have someone better already lined up and don't need to talk to him.....Jim Harbaugh, I'm looking at you.
