For the 2009 season, UT paid $3,325,000 to all assistant football coaches, the highest combined salary among public schools. Add to Kiffin's ~$2m, it's what Nick Saban just got extended for. And also, non-sports specific: Community leaders Jim and Natalie Haslam and the Haslam Family Foundation ...

Agree, it is not a good fire at all, and at a really weird time. Listen, I realize they went 3-9 this year, but they were DECIMATED with injuries.
